CTRL UL101
The CTRL UL101 detects and converts ultrasound produced by mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Changes in the amplitude and characteristics of the ultrasound are easily detected in noisy plant environments. Leaks are easily pinpointed. Equipment problems are diagnosed even earlier than other technologies such as vibration, infrared inspection, or oil analysis.

Ease-of-use
Simply adjust the sensitivity on the UL101 to pinpoint the sound; scan areas from up to 300 feet away with the PowerBeam 300 parabolic accessory.
Directionality
Ultrasound travels in linear paths and doesn't tend to travel around corners or reflect. Using CTRL’s acoustic ultrasound listening products, leaks are not easily masked.
Sensitivity
The UL101 is the most sensitive ultrasound detector on the market. Find leaks below 2 psi. Diagnose slow speed bearings below 10 rpms.

LEAK DETECTION
The CTRL UL101 Basic Kit includes attachments for airborne ultrasound applications including leak detection (any type of gas), vacuum leak detection, electrical inspection, and steam leak detection. Additionally, the kit includes a single 3-inch solid probe for diagnosing steam traps and valves by detecting internal bypass leaks

The CTRL UL101 Electrical Inspector includes the UL101, PowerBeam 300, and additional accessories to allow for a
full inspection of electrical equipment. The inclusion of the concentrator set and polycarbonate extension probe makes the
