What We Do

CTRL Systems designs and manufactures ultrasound condition-based monitoring sensors and software for a variety of applications including predictive maintenance, leak detection, electrical discharge detection, and valve diagnostics. Our products are coupled with training and integration programs that help us complete our mission. 

What Sets CTRL Apart

Our ultrasound condition-based monitoring (CBM) takes place in a non-destructive testing (NDT) environment, allowing users to inspect and accurately monitor assets while equipment is fully operational. The CTRL approach to acoustic ultrasound CBM is viable for a single-site operation or a global multi-site organization.

In the diagram above, the UL101 records a sample from a properly functioning steam trap. Notice the relatively quiet baseline. In the bottom three samples, the same steam trap is sampled at the same time by three competitive sensors. Notice the underlying “white noise” in the baseline, making it more difficult to identify anomalies that indicate a change in condition.
