The following samples demonstrate ultrasonic inspection using the UL101 and Acoustic Probes or Concentrators to indicate and locate the ultrasound produced by a leak.

Leak In Pneumatic Control Box

The mechanic detects the leak even when the pneumatic control box is closed. The mechanic would then open the box and adjust the sensitivity down to pinpoint the leak. Locating and repairing compressed air leaks on a routine basis provides substantial energy savings.
