Audible vs. Ultrasound

Ultrasound mitigates competing noises in extreme environments for indicating and locating pressure and vacuum leaks, electrical arcing, and corona discharge. The UL101 converts the ultrasound from 40 kHz to the audible range while ignoring ambient audible sound. Simply turn on, aim in the direction of the pressure/vacuum lines, and adjust the sensitivity down to pinpoint.
